Simple or small pieces
Small or Simple Pieces: start around $50 (for example, a small pencil sketch or a simple digital portrait).
Simple digital portraits, simple illustrations
Simple Illustrations: typically range from $150 - $300 (for a full-color digital illustration with background or a detailed traditional painting at medium size).
Large illustrations, complex digital portraits
Large or Complex Projects: begin at $300+ (for example, multi-subject compositions, intricate scientific illustrations, or large format paintings).
Commission Process
Contact & Idea: Reach out to me with your idea for a commission. Let me know what you have in mind – for example, the subject or concept, preferred medium (digital or traditional), and any style inspiration or reference images.
Discussion & Quote: We'll discuss the project details (size, colors, complexity, deadlines, etc.) to make sure I understand exactly what you want. Based on this discussion, I'll provide a price quote and an estimated timeframe for completion. (Every project is unique, so pricing and timing will be tailored to your specific request.)
Booking & Deposit: Once we agree on the details and pricing, I'll send you an invoice. A deposit (usually 50% of the total price) is required to book your commission and for me to begin work. Payment can be made via PayPal or credit card. Once the deposit is received, I’ll schedule your project and get started on the initial concept.
Artwork Creation: I’ll create a preliminary sketch or composition and share it with you for approval. This is your chance to review the direction and request any adjustments. After you approve the sketch, I'll proceed to complete the full artwork. Throughout the process, I'll keep you updated with progress images, so you can see your piece coming to life. Minor adjustments and one round of revisions during the sketch phase are included to ensure you're happy with the result.
Final Approval & Delivery: When the artwork is finished, I will send you a low-resolution preview or photo of the final piece. Once you’re satisfied with the result, the remaining balance is due. After final payment is received, I'll deliver the finished artwork. For digital commissions, you'll receive the high-resolution image file (and prints can be arranged if desired). For traditional commissions, I'll carefully package and ship the original artwork to you, or arrange a pickup if you're local.
